Refund & Return Policy

Return Window

We have a 30‑day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Please note: Our 30‑day return policy is a voluntary offer and does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal or your statutory warranty rights in the European Union (see below).

You can return your item(s) within 30 days of receiving your order. For orders shipped to the European Union, you also have the right to return your order within 14 days for any reason (see “European Union 14 day cooling off period”).

Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or not significantly used, and in its original packaging (including all accessories and manuals). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

You may test the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, similar to how you would test it in a physical store. Any use beyond this may result in a deduction from the refund.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at support@powersmartakku.de.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Quality Issues

If the product has a quality issue (e.g. defect, damage, wrong item sent), we will:

  • Replace it free of charge, and
  • Cover the return shipping costs.

This is in addition to your statutory warranty rights.


Non‑Quality Issues (Change of Mind, Wrong Purchase, etc.)

If you wish to return or exchange due to personal reasons (for example, you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or no longer need the product):

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
  • For returns within 30 days, we will refund the full order amount (product price; original shipping fees may be subject to local legal requirements).
  • For non‑quality related returns requested after 30 days, any refund (if accepted on a goodwill basis) will only cover the product price. Original shipping fees are non‑refundable.

This policy applies in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights in case of defective products.


Incorrect Address, Refused Parcels, Unclaimed Deliveries

If the delivery fails or extra costs occur due to:

  • An incorrect or invalid address provided by the buyer, or
  • The parcel being not received, unclaimed, or refused by the buyer,

then all related expenses (including but not limited to return shipping fees, storage fees, and any additional handling or re‑delivery charges) shall be borne by the buyer.


Exceptions / Non‑Returnable Items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Sale items, or
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted and processed, you can then make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or not significantly used, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Our 30‑day return policy is a voluntary extension and does not affect this statutory right of withdrawal.


Statutory Warranty (Legal Guarantee – 2 Years in the EU)

For consumers in the European Union, our products are covered by the statutory warranty rights for a minimum of 2 years in case of defects, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this Refund & Return Policy limits or excludes these statutory warranty rights. If your product develops a defect within the statutory warranty period, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or a refund, depending on the circumstances and local law.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@powersmartakku.de.
